I never post on Facebook. Today I did because I have been working endlessly on my resume. I finally finished my resume today. After picking it apart, I read it over to triple check everything. I realized something. My resume is all about me, but it doesn't exist just because of me.

" Shoutout to my parents for always encouraging (sometimes literally pushing me out the door) me to go be active. We have spent a lot of time over my life running here and there for me to go to whatever event I had - field hockey, club field hockey, national tournaments, lacrosse, violin practice, show choir, soccer, 4-H meetings, showing pigs, horseback riding, ACE Mentoring meeting, having jobs, applying for scholarships, visiting colleges. All that running around did not stop with me leaving the nest. If anything, it increased. All that running about has summed up in a great resume and a confidence that I get to carry to every interview (including the one I have tomorrow morning). Even though you didn't give me the genetics to run, you still taught me to run. Thanks, Mom&Dad"
